Come join Marilyn and her friendsevery Friday night , at 6:00pm for our weekly Jammin' at the Oprey. While Baker City, Oregon is a long way from the real Grand Old Oprey House in Nashville, the Friday night Jams embody the spirit of good music and good fun. Stick around long enough and you might even hear a joke or two! The jam is open to all musicians of all skill levels, from beginner to expert. You will find a few former Nashville players and raw novices doing the thing they love most... making music. The public is welcome to attend. Sit and enjoy the music or get up and dance the evening away.

Jammin' at the Oprey is now being held at the Baker County Extension office. We out grew our two former locations! The Extension office is located at 2610 Grove Street in Baker City, Oregon. Follow this link for a map and detailed driving directions.

Bluegrass and Old Time Music In Haines, OR

Last Saturday of every month from 5-9PM
On the last Saturday of every month from 5-9PM you will find musicians from all over the area congregating in Haines, OR to play a wide assortment of Old Time and Bluegrass music. This all acoustic jam is located in the City Park during the summer months and in the school just down the road during the winter.

Drumming Circle

1st Saturday 4-6 PM @ Marilyn’s Music
All hand drums and hand percussion instruments and styles welcomed. Come share your African or Native American beats with fellow drummers. Bring your own instruments or try ours out.

Acoustic Jam Session

Every Thursday 5-7PM @ Marilyn’s Music
Just for those who don’t do the electric thing. Come share your love of acoustic music, all styles are welcome.

First Friday at Crossroads

First Friday
The first Friday of every month the shops and galleries of Baker City stay open into the evening hours, featuring their new exhibits. During this time, 5-7PM, Crossroads Art Center not only offers great art, but hosts an acoustic jam session. Crossroads is located at 1901 Main St., Baker CIty, OR.
